What We Believe

The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible is the written revelation of God and the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God, truthful in all they affirm, and sufficient to reveal God's will, character, and redemptive purposes. Scripture is to be understood according to its plain meaning, interpreted in its historical and grammatical context, and submitted to as the ultimate standard of truth.

God

We believe in one true and living God, eternal, self-existent, and sovereign over all things. God is infinite in holiness, wisdom, power, and love, and has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct Persons, yet one God—worthy of all worship, trust, and obedience.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, now reigns at the right hand of the Father, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who glorifies Christ and applies God's saving work to the hearts of people. He convicts of sin, regenerates those who believe, indwells believers, and progressively sanctifies them, enabling obedience, spiritual growth, and faithful witness.

Humanity and Sin

We believe humanity was created in the image of God to glorify Him and enjoy fellowship with Him. Through Adam's disobedience, sin entered the world, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. All people are sinners by nature and by choice and are unable to save themselves apart from God's grace.

Salvation

We believe salvation is entirely a work of God's grace, accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received by faith alone, not by human effort or merit. Those whom God saves are justified, declared righteous in Christ, and progressively transformed by the Holy Spirit in sanctification.

The Church

We believe the Church is the spiritual body of Christ, composed of all who have been redeemed by Him. The Church exists to glorify God through worship, the proclamation of the gospel, discipleship, and obedience to Christ's commands, including baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Eternal Security

We believe all who are truly saved are kept by God's power and are secure in Christ forever. Assurance of salvation rests not on human performance, but on God's promises and the finished work of Christ.
